Serena and Venus Williams

Both Serena and Venus Williams have won Olympic gold medals. Venus won one in 2000 in Sydney, and Serena won one in 2012 in London. They have also won three gold medals playing together in doubles against other opponents in Sydney 2000, Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

Michael Phelps

For Michael Phelps, the 2012 London Olympics were his last. He took part in three Olympic Games – Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. In those games he won a total of 18 gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals. With the London Olympics, Phelps also set a new world record by winning more Olympic Gold medals for individual events than any other Olympic athlete.
