HOW TO WRITE A STORY

a) an introduction in which you set the scene (who was involved, time, place, weather)

b) a main body, where you develop your story, presenting the events in the order they happened.

c) an ending which includes what happened at the end of the story,as well as people's feelings.

Tips!!!

First rule is to set a number of characters. A short story should only have a few characters.

The next thing you need to understand is the simple plot. The plot should be simple.

 

Writing Techniques !!!

To make your story more interesting to the reader you should:

1) use a variety of adjectives or adverbs, such as imaginative, wonderful, nice, good, well…

2) use a variety of verbs such as screamed, whispered, said, told….

3) use past simple and past continuous

4) use direct speech

As we were walking, he heard a loud noise. My friend said " What was that?"
